Dance
Project MOVE offers a wide variety of dance and movement classes. We base our school programs on West African Dance and Drum, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. We provide historical education and instruction on the drums and movement associated with drums, as well as the history of hip hop and its origination.
Theatre
Our theatre arts program can coincide with school’s music department or work with individual teachers to formulate a goal-specific workshop that meets state standards. The theatre arts program will incorporate acting, singing, dancing, role-playing, experimentation, and more! Our theatre arts program typically ends with a final performance for the school community’s viewing.
Costume Design
Project MOVE has professional artists on staff ready to share their skills with your students. Our costume design program can run alongside our theater or hip-hop program, designing costumes to utilize their own creative mastery and bring their own visions to life for an ending performance! Mathematics, measurement, and color blending using common core standards are only a few topics that will be discussed during the costume design program. Get ready to find your inner artist! The entire school community can be involved!
