Shake off the stress of COVID and get MOVING!
Moving Through & Moving Beyond, Workshops with Project MOVE will be bringing in movement, music, and clothing design workshops from South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United States to approximately 50 children of all ethnicities and all physical abilities through various workshops for five months. As the local community center's dance space shut down during and beyond the pandemic, this project will enable the whole community of South Shore Long Island, NY to heal from the COVID impacts and isolation by sharing the joy of movement and culture from multiple continents, culminating in a final dance performance: International MOVE Day Festival on April 3, 2022.
